The Nexus of AI and Creativity
We’re still adjusting to the end of Daylight Savings Time, but we’re not letting it dim our mood! Know why? We’re brimming for our LA Summit on November 19th!
The LA Summit will bring together some of the finest minds working at the nexus of AI and Creativity. Here’s a sneak peak of what’s in store:
VISION TO VENUE: THE AI EXPERIENCE PIPELINE
This session will bring together leaders who are dedicated to creating large-scale, immersive reality experiences. Dive into the nitty-gritty details of what it takes to scale a creative idea into something that will attract thousands of people – and the future of fan experiences. If you want to transform your ideas into events suitable for big venues, then this is a conversation you won’t want to miss – with Devin Poolman (Cosm), Matt Celia (Lightsail), Katya Alexander (Fable), and Chris Sinnot (AWS).
THINKING SLOW IN THE AGE OF FAST MACHINES
It’s natural to feel as if you’re falling behind in the age of AI. But our human edge comes from our ability to adapt to change. In this session, Dom Heinrich (Coca-Cola) and Angella Tapé (Havas) will explore new ways of learning that help people keep abreast of the rapidly changing knowledge economy. If you want to know how professionals at top brands such as Lego, Coca-Cola, and On stay in the know, make sure to make time for this event.
LIVING WITH INTELLIGENCE: HUMAN-CENTRIC DESIGN IN THE ERA OF CONNECTED HARDWARE
AI is making its way into the physical world, and a new era of design is unfolding. From visual interfaces to ambient, embodied experiences that sense and interact. From emotion-aware devices to context-sensitive systems, this conversation examines how AI-driven hardware is transforming the way we communicate, create, and connect. Join Snap inc veteran and founder of stealth company Spatial Magic, Andrew McPhee; leading Researcher Karl D.D. Willis; Design leader Lauren Bedal (Archetype AI), for a juicy conversation on the future of interfaces, led by Zoë Bernard (Vanity Fair).
INNOVATING INSIDE THE MACHINE: CAN LEGACY BRANDS SET THE PACE?
Many legacy brands are working overtime to incorporate AI into their organizations in practical and forward-thinking ways. This panel will bring together executives from leading retailers like Mattel and Gap, to discuss how they’re using AI transformation to future-proof their organizations’ continued cultural relevance. If you want to learn about the moonshots that they’re taking behind closed doors, then join us for a conversation with leaders who are spearheading innovation from within the heart of the mainstream.

My Tool of the Week: by artist Rae de Lune
Rae De Lune is an artist and practicing psychologist who holds Ph.D degrees in Clinical Psychology and Education. Ever since he was a child, Rae has been drawn to art. Since 2018, Rae has been particularly interested in using AI to augment his artistic practice drawing inspiration from Grimes. “I was so obsessed with her, and she was really ahead of the curve with a lot of this,” Rae told us.
This week, Rae shares his thoughts on Krea:
“My favorite part of Krea is that you can train your own AI model. It’s really user friendly. So sometimes what I’ll do is I’ll take my old illustrations that I made years ago, and then I’ll mix them with art that I made in Midjourney over the past few years. And I’ll collect 50 to 100 of these pieces–some made by hand, some made with Midjourney. And I will train a custom model through Krea in that style—Faedriel core style. And then I will use prompts to iterate over that to make new things.”

Claire Silver is an anonymous AI-Collaborative artist that works with oil, acrylic, collage, photography, and different digital mediums to create her work. She often blends the classical style and mythos into her art, collaboratively producing work that feels at once familiar and strange. Her work explores themes of innocence, trauma, the hero’s journey, and how our view of them will change in an increasingly transhumanist future. Claire’s art can be found in the permanent collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, has been at Sotheby’s London and Christie’s New York and in galleries, museums, and festivals all over the world. Featured in the New York Times, WIRED, Fortune, NPR, and countless podcasts, Claire takes every opportunity to explore her unending fascination with AI, fight for visibility for this budding art movement, and wonder at the magnitude of this moment in history. She often feels like a caveman painting fire. Claire is vocal in her belief that with the rise of AI, for the first time, the barrier of skill is swept away and that in this evolving era, taste is the new skill.
